Appeal to open additional capacity

The Donegal International Rally, one of the biggest rally events in the country, takes place in just 31 days and an appeal to open additional capacity at the Donegal Campsite been issued ahead of it.

UP to 3,000 campers will make the grounds of St. Eunan’s GAA club their home with O’Donnell Park once again the official campsite for the Donegal International Rally.


The fabulous facility will be transformed into a sea of tents, campervans and caravans with rally fans traveling from all over for the three-day event.


Club chairman John Haran said preparations for the weekend started months ago and he has paid tribute to the efforts of all the volunteers who will play such an important part in the lead up to what is expected to be a sell out in June.


“This year, the campsite promises to be bigger and better than ever before! Rally enthusiasts can rev up their experience amidst the thrilling landscapes of Donegal, making it the ultimate pit stop for adrenaline fuelled fans.” With every bed in Donegal already booked for the rally, an appeal is being made to increase capacity at the official campsite at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny which is set to sell out well ahead of the action-packed weekend from June 21st to June 23rd 2024. So, if you’re planning to join the rally, secure your spot at the Donegal Campsite and get ready for an unforgettable adventure because there is no guarantee that the appeal for additional capacity will be made available!
